We arrived in Scottsdale tired, road weary and with many tasks to be finished (Sean’s preparation for the Taiwan exhibit, buy plane tix for Taiwan, totally reorient our trip and many other small, menial and not worth mentioning chores). Thanks to Vanessa and Jon’s hospitality, we were able to finish almost everything and catch up on our sleep — and it only took us 2 weeks(!). Since we had a lot to do, we didn’t get to experience much of Scottsdale, but because my sister has settled there, we will probably have reason to return to the land of fancy strip malls, adobe homes and lots of highways. Here’s a shout out to Ness and Jon for letting Sean turn their house into an electronics workshop, introducing us to Ra Sushi, and the generally good times had by all (not to mention the Settlers of Catan madness). We love you guys. Sean says: Thanks a LOT Ness for finding the perfect black shirt!
